The projected impact of a change is based on your auction data from the past seven days and assumes all other influencers, such as your ads, landing pages, your competitors’ ads and bids, all stayed the same. Why do we care? The simulators can be helpful directional indicators of the potential performance impact from making bid or budget adjustments. As always, keep in mind the projections are based on historical data and actual future performance can (and often does) vary from these projections. . . . 📷 VIDEO EDUCATIONAL POSTS 📷 ⭐️ Safe Guarding Your Profile and BM ⭐️ (10 mins) By Justin Brenner https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/599094367582082/ Walks you through how to confirm your identity with Facebook in advance to safeguard your profile and BM, this is a must do for everyone . ⭐️ SEO On Fire #3 (Keywords, Part 2) ⭐️ (32 mins) By Marty Marion https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/601466224011563/ This is a private look and walk through of how Marty does keyword research from an over the shoulder perspective. Once you start to unpick how signs and signifiers all work together in a web of meaning, you can identify where your offering sits. It’s important to remember that people buy products that symbolise what they believe help represent what they symbolise themselves. The world is just one big symbol. If you’re trying to solve a problem for your audience, you’re in essence trying to create a new symbol from scratch for them to identify you by. But trying to do this when every symbol already seems to be taken is tough. That’s why semiotics is so important: only through understanding symbols can you create one that will be decoded in the right way by the right people. . ⭐️ How to Win with Google Shopping Ads in 2020 ⭐️ By Vincent Beima https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/602640233894162/ Vincent gives 3 recommendations to make sure you stay ahead of your competition in 2020 with Google Shopping Ads. 1 - GOOGLE SHOPPABLE ADS It helps you highlight multiple products that you have available for sale within your sponsored image ad. See it as their equivalent to Instagram shopping ads. It's currently running in beta but likely rolled out in 2020. 2 - ALWAYS IMPLEMENT YOUR UNIQUE PRODUCT IDENTIFIERS FOR MORE REACH (FOR PRODUCT FEEDS) Having a quality product feed is 70% of your Google shopping results. And "quality" means relevant data. Unique Product Identifiers (UPIs) are a big part of that. Global Trade Item Numbers (GTIN), Manufacturer Part Numbers (MPN), and brand names are specifically crucial in determining the quality. Why? Because Google is able to recognize the exact product by their UPIs. As these are universal codes, Google can identify multiple attributes of your product simply by having the GTIN for example. So, in short, UPIs determine the visibility of your product listing ads. 3 - AUTOMATIC IMAGE IMPROVEMENTS If you're not able to take better product images yourself, and you have small "obstructions" in your product image you can ask Google to automatically improve your images. This means it can remove promotional texts from your images like “Sale” or “Buy one get one” etc Thanks for making it easier on us Google! . . . 📷 GENERAL QUESTIONS 📷 ⭐️ Has Anyone’s BM Been Shut Down From Partner Shared Ad Account? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/598202544337931/ Long story short here, make sure that you add yourself to clients ad accounts as a partner and do not add your profile to their BM directly or you could face the same penalty as them . ⭐️ How Do You Structure Audiences in Youtube Ads? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/598881097603409/ Devan asked: When running YT Ads is it best to use multiple ad sets for each audience or break it out 1 ad set per campaign? Jonathan White and Brat Vukovich both agree that doing one audience per campaign is best . ⭐️ Firing FB Events on Click? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/599253584232827/ Great post that shows you how to use javascript to make an OnClick event so you can fire FB events when someone clicks a button or link on your site . ⭐️ Anyone Running CBD on Google Ads? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/599269844231201/ 📷️ Answer by Steven Black “ Run the ads to a quiz page and then give them the link after the quiz based on being a qualified lead. If you are talking adwords, then use a peripheral KW and set the quiz up in a way that talks about symptoms that CBD might fix without mentioning CBD. I would also include questions about their feelings on homeopathic treatments. Get them through that and give them the CBD page link on the back side. You'll also have their email this way where you can further nurture them. This all keeps you away from google's radar and you can "advertise" for CBD. Additionally, by using peripheral KWs, you are further up the funnel which means they do require a bit of nurturing but the CPCs and CPAs are also WAY less expensive than product targeted KWs. outgrow.co is a quiz builder I've used that works well for this sort of thing.” . ⭐️ What Factor Do You Think Makes a Company “Established”? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/599479897543529/ What makes a company “Established”? Is it time? Revenue? Board of directors? Etc? Great answer here by Chandler Welling This is actually a really good question, and it’s tough to answer in short. Brand equity (or respect/reputation). This is somewhat encompassing of many things. If you can survive long enough to build brand equity, you’re likely past the startup stage and can say you’re established. Having brand equity means that you’ve impacted a market enough for the market to recognize you as a respected player in the game. It means you can shutoff your ads for a day or two and still have sales flowing in. A lot of people can’t do this. . . . ⭐️ How Do You Check if a Product is Patented? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/600535547437964/ 📷️ Answer in Comments by Damien Defranco (Very Detailed) Too long to cover here but definitely a great read for a number of reasons . . ⭐️ Best Practices for Contests? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/602055510619301/ 📷️ Answer by Van Oakes “That’s all we do is contest. But we do it a little bit different. Every 1 dollar spent is 1 entry to win. The more you spend the better your chances are to win. There is some red tape and hoops that you have to jump through but I’m willing to beat the quality of my traffic is just as good as any other traffic and my LTV will blow most e-commerce apparel brands out of the water.“ . ⭐️ Hiding ALL Comments for Moderation Purposes? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/602456033912582/ Not a great idea, people call you out for it but it can be a good temporary fix for certain situations . ⭐️ How Do You Handle Creative Fatigue? ⭐️ https://www.facebook.com/groups/adleaks/permalink/599707154187470/ Great post here with a lot of great answers. Personally I would recommend constantly trying new creatives. If you saw the post from Maxwell Finn a week or two ago about tracking political ads he showed the level of testing the various campaigns are doing and its incredible and Ive seen generally the more you test the better but there is also something to be said about over-testing. You don’t want to spread your budget too thin . . Thanks for tuning in to AdLeaks Episode 4, this is your host Tim Burd You stay classy AdLeakers!
